Goodbye, Gordie.
Hi everybody,
Just wanted to write a little post to let you know that Gordie MacMasters of Decorah, Iowa passed away the other day. Gordie is the man who taught me about the musical saw. We was a farmer and a bit of a local legend in these parts. I didn’t know him well, but he had me out to his house to play music one day and he corrected a lot of my mistakes. Say a little prayer for Gordie.
